I am Recovering....HURRAY!!!!

I am recovering!!!!!

See....i just finished my porriage.....yucky! see my face.....so dirty!!!!! hahahhaa....(that's the porriage!)

mummy and daddy are so happy as I am recovering well from the HFMD. Finally! I can go out soon....as doctor has instructed mummy to quarantine me at home for 1 week. I can go out on Saturday!!!! HURRAY!!!

mummy promised to bring me for a swim, but, doubt she will bring me for a swim on this weekends as I'd just recovered. Guess I have to wait for another week before I can jump into the pool!

I Fall SICK

mummy brought me to Compasspoint to do some shopping on Wednesday, 14th June 2006. I was still feeling ok, everything still ok...nothing unusual.

on Thursday, 15th June, I was still ok and normal in the morning. But, at around 1pm, I started to feel unwell and thereafter, fever fever. I was running high fever at 39.6 and my maid was so worried as mummy has went out. Immediately, she put the cool pack on my forehead and called mummy. Within 30mins, mummy came back and I was too drowsy and weak to welcome her home.

Worried worried....mummy immediately asked maid to pack my bag and rush me to KK Hospital. Fever was still high at 39.5, and the nurse gave me a dose of paracetomol to control the temp. Shortly after, daddy came from his work.

After about 1 hour's wait, it's finally my turn as I heard my name being called. Doctor examined me and did a urine test for me. Nothing unusual surface yet, and mummy just collect the medicine and we went home.

Fever still on and off,....and it finally 100% subsided on Saturday, 17th June. However, I started to have some rashes on my body, hands and foots. Mummy started to get worried and brought me to PD. Still, I was diagnosed as Virus infection and nothing unusual. Home again and I just play as per normal. I'm still active.

Sunday, 18th June, mummy wakes up at 11am and played with me. As per normal, she checks my hands and foots,....and daddy brought a touch-light to check my mouth. SHOCK! mummy discovered some ulcers in my mouth!!!!! Immediately, she drove me to KK Hospital. After a long wait and was confirmed diagnosed I contracted the HANDS FOOT MOUNTH!!!!!

mummy and daddy so worried and together with maid,.....the whole house was steralised and cleaned with dettol and hot water.

Doctor said I will take about 1 week to recover.

So, I'm unable to attend Ashlyn's Birthday Party on Sunday, 2nd July. Sorry Ashlyn.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! My mummy will bring me to visit you when i get well,...ok?

I would usually play and read books at this area,.......mummy and maid will play with me here.

My First Potty

This is my potty. It's a gift from Aunty Joanna and Aunty Angeline. Mummy says I'm a big boy now, and needs to use potty for all my *businesses*.....heehee

My FIRST Step!

today, 14th June 2006 @1415hours.....I finally have the courage to let go of the supports and gave it a try to show mummy my FIRST step!

HURRAY!!!!! I did it!!!!!
I walked 2 steps without mummy's support before landing on the floor on my butt!!!!!

mummy's so proud of me and she immediately called daddy to tell him!

mummy was worried about my slow progress, but, Dr. Vanessa Tan, my PD, keeps assuring her that I will be slow due to..... 1st : premature.....2nd : follow daddy's slow development genes.

i can see mummy very very very happy today with my first try! I will work harder to achieve!!!!

too bad,.......it happened too fast and mummy did not have any chance to grab the camera to take picture for me. Well, it's ok, there's always another chance.

JAM the Doggie

this is mummy's dog, her name is JAM. I was curious and asked mummy why is she named JAM and i was told it means *Jessie & Max* = JAM.

I love to play with her whenever I goes to granny house. Mummy leaves Jam at Ah Ma's house.
I love to pull her tail and chase after her when I'm in my walker! FUN FUN FUN!!!!

she's a well behaved dog whom takes instructions.

Development Milestone

Development Milestones

Finally I am 1 year old. Let me take stock of what I have achieved so far for the past 12 months.

* 4th month (July05) - flip from lying on my back to the front via my left. also had my 1st fall from the bed to the floor as daddy and mummy still doesn't know i have master the skills of flipping!
* 4th month (July05) - flip from lying on my back to the front via my right
* 4th month (July05) - Started my semi-solid food. Yummy!!!
* 5th month (August05) - flip from tummy position to lying on my back
* 6th month (September05) - trying to figure out the crawling skills
* 6th month (September05) - My 1st teeth. Front bottom.
* 7th month (October05) - able to crawl and abit of creep (using hands and knees with stomach above ground). But i still can do much better with the *swimming style* with tummy on the floor.
* 7th month (October05) - My 1st swimming session with mummy.
* 8th month (November05) - I did it!!!! I can crawl and crawl using hands and knees and stomach above the ground!
* 8th month (November06) - Started to hold my own bottle in the correct way.
* 9th month (December05) - Master the clap hand skills.
* 10th month (January06) - Starts climbing on the sofa, bed, tables. But I'm just lazy to walk!
* 10th month (January06) - Cruise around with tables/sofa to support.
* 11th month (February06) - able to climb down the bed/sofa independantly and correctly (legs and butt 1st)
*11th month (February06) - Learning to talk....my 1st word is "Ne-Ne" and "Mum-Mum"=(EAT)!!!!
* 12th month (March06) - I am 1 year old! But i'm still lazy to walk.....(same as daddy, whom only walks at 18th month)! hahahaha....
